The most terrifying thing is not the sudden bad luck, but the process of knowing that the bad luck is coming but cannot escape. Seeing oneself go to the end step by step and can't do anything, this kind of fear makes people crazy. And when people are most afraid, they do everything. Just like the hero Lawrence in the film, he is so calm and composed, thinking about the solution rationally all the time. When I was worried that he would kill Adam who was locked in the same room to exchange his freedom, he did not, but let Adam cooperate with him. A play - though it didn't work out. But in the end, the infinite panic about his family's situation made him lose his mind, and he actually sawed off his own foot, which was completely beyond my expectations. His crazy-like movements, the gushing blood and Adam's screams on the side made me extremely unbearable and shocked. People are actually very weak, so don't beat them too much.
