The first episode of Casino Royale in which Daniel became the new Bond was brilliant, infusing the 007 series with the energy of an action movie, and Bond was no longer an elegant and calm agent, but had a bit of a hard-core color.
Today, 10 years later, the fourth Spectre has cooled off rapidly, and for me, the main flaw is the poor plot.
Can you imagine a battle-hardened agent, taking his beloved woman to Longtan Tiger Cave alone without a plan B, and being knocked unconscious by someone in the lobby? Can you imagine that the villain who plans to be watertight, didn't even search his body before tying Bond, and didn't take off the watch on his wrist? Also, you know the whole world is chasing your woman, but you let her walk the streets of London in the middle of the night casually?
When it becomes a habit to watch the new 007 instead of chasing its quality, it's a sad thing for both the film and the audience.
The surprise was that I could spot the restaurant where M was dining in. I went to London and rubbed myself with them because they didn't make Steak Wellington. Now I think Steak Wellington is Gordon's own flower head and it's not a British speciality at all. And regretful London's oldest restaurant "Rules".
