I like the setting of this play for two sunny boys to establish a relationship with each other. They are called masters and servants, and they are actually brothers. Paying for the other party never cares about, does not hesitate, and does not weigh the pros and cons. It is an enviable pure friendship in the world. The trust, loyalty, delicacy, and firmness they expressed with each other touched people's hearts and went deep into my heart.
Although some people accuse the BBC of selling corruption, so what? So what? Playing deep and ambiguous is just a different way to please the public. What's more, between the two male protagonists, friendship is not broken, but love is broken.
Of course, I firmly believe that this drama will never develop into a BL drama, because in addition to the obvious friendship, this film also shows more parent-child relationships and obscure heterosexual relationships.
