In the first episode, Company E of the 506th Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army, under the strict discipline of the captain, was making the final preparations for landing on the Western Front in Europe. There was no rest day, and dead pork was crawling in a pool of blood. The captain did not seem to be good at actual combat command and was eventually replaced before departure; the second episode, June 6, 1944, was the first day of the Allied invasion of France. An air attack occurred at 7 kilometers from Normandy, France, where Lieutenant Winster and others were airborne. Soldiers parachuted, assembled and successfully conquered Utah Beach, but lost their first brother. The third episode describes the cruelty of the war. Some people ruthlessly shoot the prisoners; some have broken legs, and some bravely think it is just a ball game. A intermittently blind and timid soldier who was told to treat himself as a dead man became brave after firing his first shot in an encounter. In the fourth episode, Company E moved to Endhoven, the Netherlands. The Dutch supported it enthusiastically. The Nazi woman was scolded for shaving her head. After the fierce battle, she reunited with the Allies. Company E suffered 4 casualties. In the fifth episode, Lieutenant Winters of the 506th Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army was promoted to the Infantry Battalion Executive Officer (Administrative Post), and the Rear Battalion Chief of Staff (Captain), and the E Company was transferred back to Paris, France. In the sixth episode, we moved to Bastogne, Belgium, fighting in severe cold, and the medical staff almost collapsed. The seventh episode is a difficult attack on the Belgian town of Foy (Foy). In the eighth episode, Company E came to the German border and crossed the river to capture the enemy as a prisoner to learn the truth about the German army. A soldier died and no vital intelligence was obtained. The ninth episode goes unhindered into Germany and discovers Nazi concentration camps. Episode 10 Occupies Hitler's Hilltop Castle. Germany surrendered. Everyone could not go home for a long time until Truman surrendered a year later and officially declared the end of the war.

Band of Brothers quotes

  • Sgt. Alton More: I'm guessing they were Hitler's photo albums, sir. Sure had a lot of pictures of him in it.

Ronald Spiers: So, you looked at 'em, but you didn't take 'em?

Sgt. Alton More: That's right, sir.

Ronald Spiers: I don't believe you! I'll be watching you. You're dismissed.

    [as Moore leaves, smirking]

Ronald Spiers: You'd better not be lying to me.

  • Ronald Spiers: What?

SSgt. Floyd 'Tab' Talbert: Sir, if it's not going to put you in too much of a bind, I'd like to resign as company First Sergeant. If I had my choice, I miss being back amongst the men. I'd be happy to go to as Staff Sergeant, whichever platoon you want to put me in.

Ronald Spiers: Well, I guess you've earned your right to demote yourself.

SSgt. Floyd 'Tab' Talbert: Thank you, sir.

Ronald Spiers: You wanna take over Sergeant Grant's platoon?

SSgt. Floyd 'Tab' Talbert: That would do fine, sir.

Ronald Spiers: Alright then, report to Lieutenant Peacock. Let me know if he gives you any trouble.

SSgt. Floyd 'Tab' Talbert: Oh, sir? You make your decision yet?

    Ronald Spiers: Yeah, I did.
