The drama I was asked to watch! - Episode 1

If it weren't for the leadership's request, I might never have watched "Band of Brothers", and it's not that I haven't seen war dramas before, but what I saw today is a bit different. At the beginning of the interview with the veterans, I was very emotional. There are veterans who join the army not for honor, but because this is what should be done. There are veterans who join the army and can earn an extra $50, so true!

The story mainly tells about the growth of the paratroopers? E company all the way, all the way to fight, the first episode recalls the recruit training, here, every recruit must go through rigorous training, constantly challenge the limit of physical and mental strength, in order to be forged into steel, professional Only knowledge can really improve one's ability, and the wonderfulness of every little character can make the whole episode more exciting! Among them, two people impressed me:

At the beginning, the super strict Captain Sober was very critical and extremely strict with E Company. His purpose was to make the soldiers work harder before the battle and bleed less during the war. Although the method was a bit extreme, the soldiers did not appreciate it, but It also made E Company become such an excellent company, but as the plot developed, Sober's weakness was exposed. He was only a soldier on paper, which led to the annihilation of the entire army during the exercise, and even the commander who would get lost. The soldiers impeached him together. Because of the lack of military leadership, he was told by his superiors to be transferred to the academy. Seeing the helpless look in his eyes when he was told, he felt that he was not so annoying anymore! Maybe it's a good thing for him to teach at a military academy. It's similar to what we often say, people should learn to use people's strengths!

The other person is Lieutenant Winters. I feel that he is a good person, a good person who is feared by his superiors and excluded because of his excellence. He is also a competent officer in military practice and recognized by most soldiers!

I remember Sober because there are many contradictions in him, and I remember Winters because he may be the protagonist in the sixth sense. Other soldiers have seen it, but the camera changes too fast, I have to get familiar with it again!

Looking forward to the second episode tomorrow~

Band of Brothers quotes

  • Sgt. Alton More: I'm guessing they were Hitler's photo albums, sir. Sure had a lot of pictures of him in it.

Ronald Spiers: So, you looked at 'em, but you didn't take 'em?

Sgt. Alton More: That's right, sir.

Ronald Spiers: I don't believe you! I'll be watching you. You're dismissed.

    [as Moore leaves, smirking]

Ronald Spiers: You'd better not be lying to me.

  • Ronald Spiers: What?

SSgt. Floyd 'Tab' Talbert: Sir, if it's not going to put you in too much of a bind, I'd like to resign as company First Sergeant. If I had my choice, I miss being back amongst the men. I'd be happy to go to as Staff Sergeant, whichever platoon you want to put me in.

Ronald Spiers: Well, I guess you've earned your right to demote yourself.

SSgt. Floyd 'Tab' Talbert: Thank you, sir.

Ronald Spiers: You wanna take over Sergeant Grant's platoon?

SSgt. Floyd 'Tab' Talbert: That would do fine, sir.

Ronald Spiers: Alright then, report to Lieutenant Peacock. Let me know if he gives you any trouble.

SSgt. Floyd 'Tab' Talbert: Oh, sir? You make your decision yet?

    Ronald Spiers: Yeah, I did.
