Reflect on history

The film adapted from this historical event is very powerful, and the yin and yang of human nature can be seen everywhere, good at evil. I feel that this film puts Stephen above the Hollywood beings who see money open. It may take a hundred years for such talents to come out. At that time, he was in his prime of life, and he experienced the glory of countless commercial films that were successful in his youth: Star Wars, ET, Jurassic Park, and he became more and more calm in his middle age and began to put aside flashy commercial films ( Maybe enough money), began to earnestly explore the true meaning of life and art, and turned from a commercial director to an artist with a sense of mission. He first traded a Schindler list for an Oscar, and the world had to think again about World War II, Fascism, and the fate of the Jews. Amistad is one level higher than Schindler. Schindler is just the story of a philanthropist, in fact this man himself is very controversial. He was not a successful businessman, he certainly saved a lot of Jews, and the huge wealth he could exchange was unprecedented. After the war, he was impoverished, and depended on the donations of his Jewish people. The description of the fascist atrocities of the film team is still not deep enough and not strong enough. Nor did it explore the reasons from the perspective of human nature. Not shocking enough. Amistad is different, the whole movie is like a tragic song haunting the funeral of the church, like weeping like a complaint, the sound is endless. The tragic fate of black Africans also makes people ask themselves, why are people high and low? It is a thoughtful life composed of spirit and flesh. Those 43 black slaves were ravaged by the Spaniards, and life and death were just a word, a matter of thought. They were deceived to an unfamiliar place, language barriers, and powerless in court. The fate of 43 people is hanging in the hands of a judge. What a terrible thing, thinking about the consequences would be chilling. Fortunately, the judges were upright, not afraid of power, and several lawyers with a sense of justice drew their swords to help. John Quincy Adams was compassionate and repeatedly reminded the Southern judges of the High Court of what kind of country is the United States? Or is it powerful? In the United States two hundred years ago, the president had much more power than it is today, but the judges still unwittingly sentenced helpless black people innocent instead of the death penalty implied by the president. Conscience finally prevailed. This group of innocent blacks who had been abused and resisted were acquitted and the two Spanish sailors who had illegally taken people into slavery were found guilty.

Amistad makes people think about whether there are any inferior or superior people in the world.
