Godzilla - 6/10

I saw the preview of this film before, and I almost pissed. This is the most anticipated movie in the summer of 2014! As the film's release date approached, Godzilla's marketing campaign was well done. In the first weekend, it was hard to get a ticket. Compared with the hot box office, the ratings on IMDB fell at a free fall. , so that I was fully mentally prepared before going to the theater, this film will be another standard American blockbuster that benefits from marketing.

Let's talk about the advantages first. In fact, the special effects of this movie are really good. If you watch IMAX, the sound and visual effects will definitely hit you in an instant, which is also the biggest attraction of this movie. Like other general Hollywood blockbusters, the film's primary goal is to go to the box office, which Godzilla was an instant hit.

It's a pity that this film has too many flaws in the plot actors and details. The male protagonist and his wife are basically incapable of acting, and they can clear the level with just one expression. In comparison, Bryan Cranston's playing time is still a little less. . In addition, the plot of the film in the second half is too confusing and old-fashioned, making the foreshadowing of the first half of the film a bit redundant. . But the most worthy of complaining is the ending of the movie, the standard WTF moment. I understand Godzilla's position in the monster movie, but the ending is still too unconvincing. I am afraid that such an arrangement should be prepared for the sequel. .

Also a monster movie, last year's Pacific Rim was slightly better than Godzilla. This is my best review of the film.

PS Ken Watanabe's phrase "chicken dog" was too funny, and the audience didn't hold back. . .

The annual conscience trailer, implements no spoilers to the extreme. In order not to be spoiled, I can only say that Godzilla was taken from a new perspective. Juliet Binoche, who was looking forward to it, actually made soy sauce. The hero and heroine are too insensible. The most touching part is actually at the beginning. . . (Actually, I felt very distressed when I burned the monster kid to death. I was abnormal?)

The plot is loose, the characters are dull, and the blood transfusion of Pacific Rim is far-reaching. The only stunner Godzilla has too few opportunities to come out and sell cute. Apart from the refreshing setting of violence and violence, other things are lacking.

Vivienne Graham: Oh, my God. Is it possible? Is it him?

Dr. Ichiro Serizawa: No. This is much older.

  • [watching the other MUTO wreck havoc on the news]

Vivienne Graham: It's almost 300 feet. It's much bigger than the other one.

Admiral William Stenz: This one doesn't have any wings.

    Vivienne Graham: A different sex?

    Dr. Ichiro Serizawa: ...A female.

Vivienne Graham: THAT'S who he's been talking to.

Dr. Ichiro Serizawa: It must be a mating call. The female remained dormant until the male matured.

Vivienne Graham: Now they're seeking radiation... to reproduce!
