Unbearably stupid

The story is okay, but the film is mentally handicapped.
Even children's literature is not such a way of filming. All the actors and actresses have rigid expressions, and they speak like reciting lines, especially the young Middle Eastern youth who read it out with a silly expression.
The most uncomfortable thing is that villain number one, like Mr. Bean, dressed in a black suit and said something serious and expressionless.
The characters are silly, and the plot is silly.
The actor has been looking for his wife for nine years, and he is not as powerful as the novel written by his daughter, and annihilated all the villains in one fell swoop. He can write and read a few words at random, so why did he go?
I can only say one word for this movie: silly.
Of course, maybe the original novel is a good book, and it was ruined by this movie.
Even if this movie is not for adults, but for children, can children at this level be deceived?

I haven’t seen it since it’s been sitting on the plate. I’m also having fun during the holidays. There are many loopholes, but I’m basically friendly. I read the history of Arabic literature during the day and see Alibaba at night... Am I also in hell?

A fairy tale! Helen Mirren's performance was brilliant.

  • Dustfinger: His name's Gwin. And I know he looks charming, but you know what they say about books and covers.

Meggie Folchart: Yes, I do. And I also know what they say about talking to strangers. Excuse me.

Dustfinger: But I'm no stranger, Meggie.
