I am fortunate to be the first audience to watch this movie in the world. After watching it, I feel that I still owe some of my favorite "Return of the Jedi", but it is really worth the price in terms of visual processing. The sci-fi theme and IMAX complement each other. A better audio-visual experience for the audience.
First of all, in terms of character structure, it is unavoidable that the blood relationship of the characters is one of the important clues to promote the development of the story. Although it will be a little unexpected when watching, it is easier to predict what will happen in the subsequent plot. Plots, such as the thunderbolt that exploded out of control of the Force during Rey's first confrontation with Kylo Ren in the film, will make fans guessing that Rey's relationship with Palpatine will also be revealed later.
Another point is that the explanation of some characters and clues is not clear. For example, the Sith dagger, as one of the crucial clues in the first half of the film, did not appear again after it appeared on the spacecraft for the last time. It is obviously related to Lei. There are more connections between Yi and show to the audience, but this may be the foreshadowing of the director's next work.
Finally, I would like to say that in some aspects of editing, the old trilogy is always divided into three parallel montages in the final battle. Take "Return of the Jedi" for the battle between the ships, the battle between the ground Solo and Luke and Pa The three clues in the battle of Il Patin go hand in hand, but in the decisive battle of this film, the director seems to deliberately weaken the clue of Kyloren, and overemphasize the single clue of Rey, but it is understandable that the characters in the old Star Wars are basically basic. Gone, the new characters are not enough to support the new story line. It is not difficult to see that the director paid tribute to the old Star Wars in many aspects. It is a better arrangement rather than selling feelings. It is the theme that rise of skywalker wants to express.
I'm not a die-hard Star Wars fan, but I've watched every Star Wars work more than two or three times. It's purely my personal opinion, and I've just watched it and felt a lot of things. Maybe I didn't notice it, so I hope you don't like it, don't spray it...
