Ridley's storytelling ability, scene scheduling, editing, and photography are all first-class, and the atmosphere creation is particularly good. The whole rendering shows the 1970s. American taste.
The reason why many people don't rate this film particularly high is probably because the director didn't rise to the top, express his thoughts, and dig out the meaning. But I think that's fine too.
Washington's acting is really good, it's just that I always dislike it a little bit, it seems a bit deliberate, including his performances in his acclaimed training day.
Crowe's seems to be more natural, of course his role is simpler and more authentic.
Several killing scenes were violent and fast, shocking.
A quick chase shot is as shaky as Bourne, which is popular now.
The line of Washington in the film is very full, but the line of Crow is still a bit weak and lacks a little motivation.
