The cast still has to be said. Denzel Washington, who plays gangster Frank, is one of Hollywood's most charismatic actors and the most expensive black movie star in Hollywood. When I see him, I think of the uncle who was forced to break out by the society in his eyebrows. He always feels very gentle. He plays the role of the gang boss. Although he is full of swear words, he still feels very cute. Starring a hot-blooded strongman, a great debater, why do I always feel that he has been acting a story adapted from a real event. Russell Crowe who played Richie, it's him again, I still don't have any feelings, the acting is very good, I have starred in Beautiful Mind, Three Days of Dangerous Love, Gladiator and so on. Anyway, one black and one white, it is easy to divide the camp in the movie.
After watching this movie, I can only say that the actors have good acting skills and the director has a good grasp of the rhythm. This kind of gangster film reflects the last century. Generally, the gangsters are flourishing for a while, but it is impossible to say that the gangsters will continue to be strong in the end, and they will definitely decline. And I, a pure drama audience, have no idea after watching this film. Compared with the godfather, this film is too light, and compared with ordinary commercial films, the plot is not twisty enough, but this is a film based on A movie that is actually adapted naturally cannot be exaggerated to any extent, and it can only be so limited by the plot. It is worth mentioning that the director's grasp of the rhythm, the whole movie seems very slow, but the occasional sudden stimulation is very unresponsive. Came in, and it felt pretty cool. The acting skills of the actors are also good, especially Denzel Washington, whose sudden change of face from a gentle uncle is also amazing. It can be said that the addition of Denzel and Russell really made this movie more interesting.
After reading some information, Frank was really powerful when he was in his prime, and for this movie, Rich and Frank were also invited to participate in the screenwriting.
