just for entertainment

Perhaps out of curiosity, I watched "The Mummy", but after watching it, I was fascinated by the film. I liked the film's dubbing, huge buildings, realistic special effects and various characters in the film.
At the beginning, I was very afraid of the high priest. After all, it was a mummified corpse, and anyone who saw it at first glance was a little scared. However, this character is the most distressing. For love, he can go against the morality of monarchs and ministers regardless of everything, but what he gets in the end, when he is about to fall into the pool of the dead (forgot the name in the film), Anasunam hesitated, looking at the crumbling pyramid, she chose to escape alone. I can't forget the despair and sadness in the eyes of the high priest and the determination that he fell into the pool. The persistence and belief that had been in the thousands of years collapsed in an instant.
The hero and heroine are bound to be happy together, and the so-called number one villain of the high priest is indeed the most sad. I hope he can be reincarnated, forget everything in the past, just be the most ordinary man, and stay with the person he loves for life.

It's a bit like the foreign version of "Tomb Notes". The plot of this film is relatively clear. At the same time, in the last century, such special effects were presented. At that time, it might have existed like Avatar a few years ago. The portrayal is also quite full, (but...) in the final analysis, this is a miserable love ha, alas.

It satisfies my fantasy of all the mysterious traditions and civilizations of Egypt, and fulfilled the ancient Egyptians' longing for immortality. The beginning of the twentieth century, when wars and colonies flooded every corner of the world, became the best era to carry all the history and legends, frightening and fascinating. I love this movie too much, but I never tire of it.

The Mummy quotes

  • Rick: Let me get this straight. They ripped out your guts and they stuffed them in jars?

Evelyn: And then they take out your heart as well. Oh, and you know how they took out your brains?

Jonathan: Evy, I don't think we need to know this.

Evelyn: They take a sharp, red-hot poker, stick it up your nose, scramble things about a bit, and then rip it all out through your nostrils.

    Rick: Ooh, that's gotta hurt.

Evelyn: It's called mummification. You'll be dead when they do this.

Rick: For the record, if I don't make it out of here, don't put me down for mummification.

    Jonathan: Likewise.

  • Evelyn: [after destroying the museum library] Oops.
