American Gangster niggas movie review
This movie was recommended by my uncle when he came to my house (just last night), come to see me?, I turned on the TV by the way..
The story line is that Rechie, a down-and-out police officer who was ostracized by the corrupt police because of honestly handing over 100 US dollars, joined the "Special Administration of Narcotics" after being appreciated by the high-level, and launched an investigation against Frank Louska. The darkness and grayness of the scene are highly integrated with the background at that time (the Vietnam War in the United States). I remember the scenes of the real situation brought about by drugs flashed from time to time in the film. Frank was the biggest drug lord in New York at the time, and he made his name with the high-purity brand of "Blue Magic" drug. He is as charismatic and eye-catching as his drugs are. Frank, played by Denzel Washington, feels to me the inner strength of the whole film: he seems to have a rationality and sensibility between reality and fantasy, sometimes calm and rational, even in the face of extremely insulting attacks. Shakes his black head slightly, puts on his signature smile, looks him in the eye, laughs, my man (my brother); but it's crazy, he pulls out a P60 pair when you think he'll handle it normally Hold someone's head, wait for your guilty conscience and pretend to be calm, then pull the trigger without hesitation, then take out a handkerchief and slowly wipe away the blood stains.
Best Frank and Rechie make a deal and get Frank successfully commuted to 15 years out of prison.
