Watch "King Kong" Miscellaneous

Finally, I saw King Kong. I asked a few people for their opinions before, and some said it was good, some said it was not good, and it was not as one-sided as some films, which made me a little confused. I was relatively free at the end of the year, so I decided to take advantage of the half-price day in the theater to see it in person and make my own judgment. Although I knew the plot early in the morning, I was deeply attracted by the development of the story. The 3-hour film did not feel cumbersome or long.

After watching it, my sister said that I can see the shadow of many other films in this film. I feel the same way. The heroine looks at the sunset on the boat and thinks of "Titanic". "Sinbad", those reptiles and insects at the bottom of the valley remind me of "Starship Troopers" and "Aliens of the Abyss", as for the dinosaurs, needless to say, "Jurassic Park" and "Dinosaurs".

I originally thought this film was about the sympathy between an orangutan and a beautiful woman (hehe, how is this word used?), but I didn't expect there to be a lot of horrible and disgusting scenes, and the women around me were scared and shrunk. Behind the clothes, only two eyes are exposed. The deepest impression is the part where the film crew fell into the reptile world at the bottom of the valley. In the wet, muddy and gray narrow strip, humans are just the prey of insects. Although they have weapons in their hands, they are unable to kill them in the face of the influx of all directions. All the giant reptiles, everything is in vain, the ears are the slowly approaching rustling worms, which makes people feel suffocated and desperate.

A total of 17 people died in a boat on Skull Island. Some of them didn't have to die, as long as they walked back at the beginning. However, in order to save the heroine and explore the unknown mysterious world, they were trampled by dinosaurs or eaten by insects. Eat, or fall into a deep ditch, or be flattened by the punch of King Kong. But they embody the "people-oriented" spirit in Western humanities, that is, help and rescue at any cost, and will never leave their partners unattended. The previous "Saving Private Ryan" delivered the same message. In the film, when people see the messy room and know that the heroine is captured, they do not hesitate to rescue. In another episode, they heard a roar from the jungle, and although they were stunned, they still walked into the depths of the jungle uneasy. In the end, some people retreated and left, but they finally came back to support the camera crew in the battle against the giant insects.

When King Kong finally slowly fell off the skyscraper, a sigh came to mind in the theater. In fact, when the heroine was first lobbied by the director, the lines had already revealed the ending, and finally the director looked at King Kong's body. It happened to respond to each other with the previous "beauty killed it". Gorilla King Kong has touched many people, perhaps because of its frankness and persistence as an animal, and it has sacrificed its life for the "beauty" it pursues. Compared to human beings in the film, it sometimes looks ridiculous and numb, like King Kong being tied to the stage and suddenly roaring, the audience was startled, and then applauded, I was shaking my head. At the same time, I am reminded of an online novel "The Legend of Wukong". You can be a hero and pull mountains and rivers, but in the big environment, you can always be helpless and end in tragedy. However, I personally think that humans don't have to blame themselves. The death of King Kong is not entirely the fault of a few people. The complexity of human beings as advanced animals has created complicated rules of the game, and sometimes it is like this.
