King Kong

I have heard many people and I recommend this film before watching it, saying how touching, how profound, exposing the wickedness of human nature, and causing people to think...and so on. But I have never been interested in watching it because of the ugly and brutal looking giant orangutan on the poster. I went to the theater to watch a movie specially today, and it seemed that there was no better choice, so I had to buy a ticket to enter the theater obediently, and I was still looking forward to it - such a well-received film, I hope it can surprise me.
Some people say that the first hour of the film is very slow, but I think it's okay. But when the huge and bloated dinosaurs appeared on the huge screen, I could not help but blink freely to make sure that I was not mistaken, this is not "Jurassic Park", right? I have a "I'm ugly but I'm gentle" gorilla in my psychological expectation, but there aren't that many dinosaurs anyway! Countless big dinosaurs, small dinosaurs, carnivorous dinosaurs, herbivorous dinosaurs, ran wild in the narrow valley, dozens of villains scurried under their feet, and few fell down and were trampled to death... Then there are endless violent horror scenes ——Giant orangutans and countless dinosaurs fought endlessly from the top of the mountain to the air until underwater. The villains encountered huge insects that could be compared to the monsters in "Alien", as well as strange creatures such as vampire bats... I can imagine if This is a 3D dynamic movie in the Science and Technology Museum. It is definitely exciting and thrilling enough to make countless girls scream. It's just a thriller, but I can't help but say that some of the pictures are indeed a bit disgusting. Tintin always repeats a scene, the kind of creature that resembles a jellyfish or an octopus, stretches out its flesh-colored tentacles, spit out another segment from the tentacles, and slowly swallows the villain's arm bit by bit... It's disgusting, The kids were about to cry when they saw it.
The first half of the movie can probably be summed up as Adventures in Skull Island, well, it's a mini toy in the hand of a gorilla - anyway I'm surprised that I'm so hard-hearted today that I don't mean to be emotional. In the second half, those who tried their best to see the sensational scenes, waited and waited, just didn't wait for the moving picture I thought. The giant orangutan continued to wreak havoc in New York. Only when he faced Ann did he show his mild side. Ann was in tears when facing the giant orangutan, wearing high heels and following the gorilla to climb the Empire State Building. The dress is always meticulous... The so-called ugly human nature is probably due to the greed and hypocrisy of the director and others, and when An and the giant orangutan were saying goodbye to life and death in tears, the military plane did not forget to strike a fatal blow, the giant orangutan After the death, people scattered and fled and gathered again to watch the fun. Soldiers happily held machine guns and took pictures of the corpses... I may not be very comprehensive, but I do think that these expressions of human nature are nothing more than superficial and very superficial. Is it superficial? The so-called exposing the ugliness of human nature is only so deep and powerful? ! The director's conclusion at the end is even more ridiculous. If this is what the screenwriter and director want to tell us from the characters in the show (American blockbusters seem to be used to throwing an aphorism at the end of the film to summarize and enlighten everyone), I think it is too simple, and somewhat off topic... If this is irony , then what did he want to say? I don't understand, I still don't understand.
Anyway, after more than two hours, the tears that have been prepared for many days still haven't found a chance to fall... Why is my post-viewing feeling so different from others'? -. -

As a science fiction movie, the story is indeed very novel! But as a romantic movie, it's just a story about Mary Su-Domineering King Kong fell in love with me! Although the story is old-fashioned, the special effects also pay special attention to details! None of King Kong's expressions are vivid! And human beings only think of benefits! King Kong battled the dinosaurs for the heroine and flew planes on the pyramid! Expose the dark side of human nature! In the end King Kong left and was picked up by others. This is a miserable love story!

  • [after a studio executive has suggested nude film shots]

Carl Denham: What are you, an idiot? Do you think they ever asked Cecil B. DeMille if he wasted his time on nudie shots? No! They respected the filmmaker! They showed some class! Not that YOU would know what class is, you cheap lowlife!
