Fresh blood failed to save a corny tale

If "Back to the Future" is a strong tribute to the old trilogy, then "Apocalypse" is undoubtedly a retrospective summary of the new trilogy.

Let's talk about team building. Both Apocalypse and Professor X are the formation of new teams. Apocalypse's team is based on the model of the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse. By the way, there is a branch line where Magneto's wife and daughter were killed by mistake. Professor X's side is to add new characters under the guidance of old characters (in fact, strictly speaking, Phoenix Girl, Cyclops Scott and Nightcrawler Kurt are more qualified). Both sides do not describe the characters' personalities and past experiences in depth, but focus on the display of personal abilities. And there is not too much elaboration on the past of the old characters, basically relying on newspapers, TV and dialogues to give an overview.

Next, let’s talk about a few main characters
. First of all, the big villain Apocalypse. There is no doubt about his ability. The motive of being a villain is to destroy human beings because it is uncomfortable to see mortals “dominating” the world. The reason is really domineering and simple, but it’s nothing. Very questionable.
Quicksilver is definitely the biggest highlight of this film. I dare say that more than 95% of the audience will think that the rescue of the mutant academy immediately before the explosion is the most impressive scene. No matter how you look at it, Duan thinks that it is an upgraded version of "Reversing the Future", and the creativity is slightly insufficient.
The performances of Jean and Scott were quite satisfactory, and the emotional foreshadowing of the two people was established, but it did not unfold.
Lao Wan, Mystique and Professor X: First of all, Lao Wan showed his helplessness for wanting to live an ordinary life but not being recognized. This is the same as the X-Men series. The racial issues of the two match up, but the rare thing is that this time Lao Wan's ending is a complete correction. Mystique is a lot more mature and rational this time, and she does have the style of the new X-Men leader, but unfortunately it doesn't reflect the original level of close combat. Professor X was as wise as ever and held his ground, but his relationship with Morena seemed a little superfluous here.
Uncle Wolf's personal show is not a problem, but I am a bit ambiguous about how this character will change in the future, but it leads to Plan X and Mr. Sinister Essex. The last few serums in the easter egg let me Infinite fantasies arose.

Questions about special effects and scenes
I had always been confident in the X-Men's scene scheduling. Even if the first five movies were bad, they could make up for it with their cool superpowers, but I felt a little disappointed after watching this one. The super grand background is really shocking, but the interaction between the characters is not strong enough, especially the combination of super power and super power is too monotonous, most of the time you hit you, I hit me, and can fly It's ok to bring a person who can run and run. Even in the final fight against Apocalypse, you directly put the skills against the ram, and then let Qin release the potential second BOSS.

In general, "Apocalypse" failed to continue the excitement of "First Battle" and "Reversal of the Future". The early narrative editing was a bit messy, but fortunately, because I have seen the previous works, I can accept it and not be confused. And the climactic battle at the end is a bit sorry for the long foreshadowing ahead. Logically speaking, the new blood injected into this one is not less than the first two, but why does it give people a sense of boredom? This ending seems to be less than perfect.

Charles Xavier: [to Storm] You're not comfortable with all this, are you? You're not like them.

Ororo Munroe: Don't try to get in my head.

Charles Xavier: I don't have to read your mind to know what it is you're thinking. You're not a killer.

Ororo Munroe: You don't know me. You didn't grow up in a place where superstition and dark religion hold a lot more sway than your degrees, Professor. I barely survived my own village, my own family. They all thought I was a curse on the Earth.

Charles Xavier: Are you going to prove them right? Are you going to prove them right?

Kurt Wagner: Where are you from?

    Jubilee: Beverly Hills.

Kurt Wagner: Ah, the hills! It must be beautiful, I've never been to the mountains.
