This review contains in-depth spoilers... Children who haven't seen the movie, be careful...
=============================================
The movie has already been swiped. Without subtitles, this is a very brain-burning movie. Every time I watch it, I feel a low-sugar feeling. I hope to communicate with other film friends, share the details of the movie, and help other friends with cerebral palsy who are confused.
#1... There are two main points in the old Michael's talk. One is "There was a big explosion fourteen days ago", referring to the battle scene in the abandoned city at the end of the film; the other is to explain the relationship between the fake painting and Sator/Kat.
#2... When the protagonist talks with an Indian female weapon dealer, he mentions "I am the protagonist" many times, and the answer is: You are not the only protagonist.
#3... You may forget when you watch the end of the movie, at the beginning of the movie, in the opera house, Neil saved the protagonist's life by going backwards in time. This is also the first time the protagonist sees the crater before the bullet and realizes the existence of retrograde time.
#4... On the timeline, which event happened first? The Opera House incident precedes the Battle of the Abandoned City. Because the Opera House includes one of the nine parts, and the Abandoned City War requires Sator to have all nine parts. The protagonist was in a coma for a long time after being tortured. After waking up, "the mouth was redone", and then he was transported to the laboratory by ship, and finally met the old Michael. This time cannot be completed within two weeks.

#5... The function of the time revolving door is to "turn back time". When Kat was shot (nearly) dead, the only way to save her was to turn back time, go back to when she wasn't dead, and find a cure. But once the time is reversed, the time can only be returned to the "forward flow" by passing through the time gate again, so the protagonist can only go retrograde for a few days and return to the moment when the plane collided at the airport. Go to the reversal gate there to reverse the time, and then send Kat goes to heal.
#6...Why did Sator go retrograde for so long to go to the desert base in the past? Because that battle destroyed the base (the "explosion fourteen days ago" as old Michael said), the base no longer exists during the main part of the movie, and if you want to use the base for detonation work, you have to go back before the base is destroyed.
#7... There is a theory that Neil is Kat's son when he grows up. This theory may be feasible in terms of time - because the protagonist himself hired him in the future, so this time line is more than ten or twenty years later - it cannot be too long like more than a hundred years. Moreover, the flow time after the time reversal is the same as that of the normal movement. People who live in the reverse life will also grow old. But this theory has no foundation except that Kat's son and Neil are both white and yellow-haired. Personally, I don't think it will benefit the film as a whole, so this is a matter of belief or not.
