To say that the characters, scenes, plots, etc. are actually all right, the biggest problem is the Western way of thinking.
The ninja sneak attack on the samurai stronghold in one of them is still possible, but the problem lies in the grand confrontation between the two armies in the final scene - it is simply a copy of Braveheart. In fact, would the Eastern Samurai fight like that? After listening to the Yankees saying, "If we give them enough damage, it may force the opponent's attack to retreat." Well, at least you have to sneak attack and kill several commanders of the other side, or engage in guerrilla warfare, sparrow warfare, etc. Isn't that what Taiwan compatriots did when they resisted Japanese aggression?
This is a brain-damaged plot design, although the scene is OK , but it's an insult to the whole storyline and to the intelligence of the protagonist and the reader.
