A slightly sloppy work of humanity

The film's title, "Small Consolation," has been voted the "worst Bond movie title ever." I don't think this so-called selection is authoritative enough. Could it be that the early titles of "Lightning Bomb" and "Underwater City" seemed to be good for selling peripherals?
"Small amount of comfort" not only has a double meaning, but also a little deep. The title of the film and the plot of the previous one can still touch the soft part of the heart. It's a pity that the script of this episode failed to execute this clue well. Or there is too much content, characters and lack of sorting out in the limited space. But even with all the hustle and bustle, the overall feeling is still generally satisfactory. The action scenes continue the authenticity and smoothness of the previous work, but are as complicated and urgent as the clues. If you watch it in the theater, you will feel exhausted halfway through.
It is still a good film that cannot be missed, but with that little regret, the expectations for the past are even greater.

Quantum of Solace quotes

  • James Bond: How much oil did the Americans promise you?

    M: This isn't about oil.

James Bond: Well, that's good because there isn't any.

M: It's about trust. You said you weren't motivated by revenge.

James Bond: I'm motivated by my duty.

M: No. I think you're so blinded by inconsolable rage that you don't care who you hurt. When you can't tell your friends from your enemies, it's time to go.

  • M: It'd be a pretty cold bastard who didn't want revenge for the death of someone he loved.
