I don't understand American history, so I don't dare to comment on the plot. It just feels that Scorsese seems to focus more on examining history. The characters all serve the history, so the description of the characters is not given too much emphasis.
I don't know why I have always disliked Leonardo DiCaprio, I think he is not very handsome and his acting skills are not very outstanding. And Cameron Diaz also seems to be getting older and always reminds me of Donald Duck.
