The last sentence of the newspaper king Kane before his death was "Rosebud". A news newspaper wanted to understand Kane by figuring out the meaning of this sentence. After interviewing his partners and family members, he only learned about different aspects of Kane. Well, still can't restore a complete him. At the end of the film, when workers burn Kane's belongings, the camera shows that the "rosebud" turned out to be the pattern on the sled he played with as a child. What the tycoon who once owned everything cherished until his death was not a woman, nor what the world guessed, but the carefree and happy time of his childhood.
