If it was sixty-nine years ago, it might have been There are indeed many breakthroughs, different shooting techniques, narration methods, visual effects, special effects makeup (the last one is really good), a lot of reasons... But in 2009, plus people said that for decades it was " Top 10 Movies in the World", with expectation and hope, it is inevitable to be a little disappointed. Just like watching Akira Kurosawa's "Rashomon", you should definitely watch it, because it is a classic, but watching it once is enough. Maybe this comparison is unrealistic and unfair, but watching movies is like this, you can't appreciate the age too much.
