Feeling of falling

Stuntman Roy and little girl Alexandria in a surgical hospital in the 1920s. Roy is a stuntman in an early movie (Roy calls that moving picture). Such a movie requires a lot of exciting and dangerous special effects to attract more audiences who don't know anything about the movie. Roy was just a stunt stand-in. In fact, he only did it once, jumping off the railroad on horseback, like suicide, the horse died. The girlfriend casts on the actor, Roy is half-body paralyzed lying in the hospital, desperate for life, he decides to die. This is a steadfast suicide, not chattering like the opposite patient, irritable, suspecting that he is sick, treating his children rudely, and there is a bottle of sleeping pills hidden in the cabinet.

By mistake, a small note fell down and floated on Roy's lap, and then a 5-year-old girl followed. She told Roy, "I fell!" When she came to Roy's side again With the communion cake stolen from the church, did she come to save Roy's soul?
Roy is just a determined suicide. He uses a gorgeous and wonderful story to lure the boring little girl and ask her to steal morphine for himself. But Alexandria thought Morphine3 was 3 pills. Alexandria's English was just able to communicate, and he usually spoke with a strange tone. Three pieces of Morphine didn't make Roy's wish, but Alexandria saw a cruel death while stealing morphine, she was so scared to pee her pants. Alexandria’s father died in a mob riot and the house was burned down, but she seemed to repeat the word “angry people” calmly. She instinctively avoided death and cruelty, as if it had never happened before, but this time maybe in her heart. The horror has been exposed.
Alexandria gradually became fascinated by this bizarre story. It was obviously made up by Roy. The gorgeous and mysterious was just to attract children. It was too simple and straightforward. Even such a straightforward story was so emotional and overwhelming to Roy. Pessimistic atmosphere. Alexandria can map the characters she knows to the story. Those who like them become good ones, and those who don’t like them become bad ones. When they don’t like this character, they can change her from a good person to a bad person. What we see is actually It was Alexandria's version, she was addicted to it, and playfully added Nurse Evelyn. But Evelyn betrayed her.
Roy swallowed the medicine hidden in the cabinet and told Alexandria not to come again. The story was about to end, and the tragedy was about to happen. Alexandria was very sad. She didn't want it. She didn't want this ending. She didn't understand why Alexander poured the water. She doesn't understand what giving up is. There is no hope in the stories told by desperate people. There was a deep cruelty and pain hidden under the story. She couldn't help adding herself to the story. When Roy was about to fall into a coma, she forcibly rescued Roy. She continued the story. This time, taking the medicine did not kill Roy.
Roy jokingly spoke English in Alexandria's accent, but Alexandria really regarded Roy as her father. She stubbornly believed that she would defeat Governor Odias with her father. But Roy wanted to end his life, he couldn't wait: there is nothing left for him, he was born with nothing left for him. Alexandria went to the pharmacy again in order to let the story continue. She thought that as long as he helped Roy fall asleep, he would continue his story again when he woke up, but this time she fell down on the medicine cabinet again, all the consequences, fear and Sadness flooded Alexandria's heart.
Roy came to see her, he should have been tempted, he must have felt something, he started to cry, choked to tell Alexandria his ending: It's not very satisfied, isn't it? He didn't think so either .It's his story, she should ask someone eles.there is no happy endings for him.Roy excitedly confessed his struggle and helplessness: He can't win. That's because our masked bandif is a coward.A fake,he is a liar and a coward. He never take an oath. No,he has his fingers crossed. He has to die. There's nothing left for him.Alexandria is extremely anxious, she began to be afraid, chanting that spell: googly, googly ,googly, be gone, she begs Roy stumblingly, madly keeping Roy, she doesn't want him to destroy his life like Masked Bandit in the story, she naively treats him as her own father, she doesn't want him or Roy To die, just a stubborn request: Don't let him die, please, let him live. Get up.Roy, get up and fighting. Why are you killing everybody, why are you making everybody die.I don't like the story. So you are making this up.Let him live.I don't want you to die.Don't kill him.Let him live.Let him live.Don't kill him.Promise? And don't cross your fingers. He just want to go to his daughter.

Alexandria was so stubborn to stay, she witnessed the horror of death when she was young, and she never wanted to see her feelings exploding. It is no accident that Alexandria is the fallen angel. She is a hero and a great warrior. She delivered the sacrament to Roy's mouth, and she guided Roy back from the brink of death with the tone of a foreigner.

There are many ideas, the pictures are extremely attentive, and the visual effects of several paragraphs are very satisfying. The pattern is both epic and literary, and the mixed emotional changes make a hodgepodge of senses. But the layout of the story is a bit of a waste of such a conscientious reality. The director is crazy

The Fall quotes

  • Roy Walker: Can you read English?

    Alexandria: Ya.

Roy Walker: [pointing to a word he's written] What's this?

    Alexandria: Paper.

Roy Walker: [laughs] No. What's this?

    Alexandria: [reading] M-O-R-P-H-I-N-3.

Roy Walker: [pointing at the letter 'E'] What's this?

    Alexandria: Three.

Roy Walker: Yeah... that's it. I'm having a hard time sleeping and remembering the story. I need some pills. I need pills in a bottle that has this written on it.

    Alexandria: M-O-R-P-H-I-N-3?

Roy Walker: Yes. And it's in the main block. In that room in the main block. You understand?

    Alexandria: Ask the head nurse.

Roy Walker: I'm asking you as a friend.

    Alexandria: But it's stealing.

Roy Walker: No it's not, not if you need it. It's no different than stealing bread from a church.

Alexandria: I'll ask them for you.

Roy Walker: No. It's a bandits' secret. I need the pills to finish the story. Do you understand?

    Alexandria: I'll do it.

    Roy Walker: Thanks.

  • Roy Walker: And she turned from the masked bandit and she said...

Nurse Evelyn: [in the story, as Sister Evelyn] May I be frank with you?

    Blue Bandit: Of course.

Nurse Evelyn: Although I've dedicated my life to God and His goodness, I secretly love throwing oranges at our priest.

Blue Bandit: [as Roy, talking to Alexandria] Take two turns to the left and go to the bathroom.

Alexandria: [squirming because she has to use the restroom] No. You read my note.

Roy Walker: What are you talking about? Go to the bathroom.

Alexandria: No. How did you know about the priest and the oranges?

Roy Walker: Everybody knows you like to throw oranges at the priest, even the priest knows. But I didn't find that out from your gibberish message.

    Alexandria: Is not gibberish.
