lady in the water

Just watched lady in the water, Du's director of photography. I found that his photography has a characteristic. He always takes close-ups of faces. At least half of the whole picture is a big face, which appears very frequently. Looking back, this seems to be a feature of Chinese/Hong Kong movies, while North American and European movies don't seem to do so much.

I also thought of a Bagui. It seemed that Lao Ma wanted him to do the departed photography, but after two weeks of work, this buddy was opened. Of course he has his own set of views. My guess is that this buddy is spoiled in Hong Kong, and photographers always want to do part of the director's work, such as the positioning of the camera, etc. This should be the director's job. The director of the class of Lao Ma obviously can't tolerate this, so he had to shoot two shots.
