There are two main lines in the movie. On the surface, Newt and No-Maji took the wrong box. No-Maji released a lot of magical creatures that should not appear in the outside world, causing a series of troubles, big and small. No-Ma Ji and two girls catch animals together; the other main line is to find silently, or where is silently.
In short, it's a hide-and-seek movie.
It was a good script, but the director missed the core. Most people have played hide-and-seek. What is fascinating is the battle of wits and courage between the people who catch and hide. However, apart from the flash of inspiration in the jewelry store, I haven't seen any battle of wits, only Seeing all kinds of whistling and running away.
Not to mention, the director forced a lot of private goods into the film, such as environmental protection, human rights, mental health counseling, the American dream, love at first sight, etc., and forced the animals into the corner. where? Except for the self-indulgent and neurotic protagonist and monsters who show special effects, there is really nothing to show for the highlights.
The contradictions in the film are also simple and rude. The fear of exposure of the magicians is incomprehensible. The president's poker face and the death penalty for a disagreement are speechless. The ending is even more anticlimactic. The bitter pleading, silently before showing his power, was killed by the soy sauce party with a salvo, the protagonist and villain can only be reduced to spectators... So, what is the protagonist doing?
All in all, if you want to watch a popcorn movie, I will not stop it. If you prefer superb acting skills and a wonderful plot, I suggest not to expect too much.
