A movie that expects more popularity than its own quality

I haven't seen Harry Potter before, and I don't know anything about the possible context of the plot, but I know magic after all.
This film is not as good as I imagined. The various recommendations and gimmicks before watching it only made me feel deeply disappointed after watching it. Other than that, the logic is a bit confusing. What is Newt doing in New York? It seems that he is looking for a magician to buy a small animal, but the magician has not appeared from beginning to end; why the heroine is restricted by the magic association, there is only one sentence in the play, but I missed it when I lost my mind, and that's all It's not clear either; I feel that the heroine looks a lot like the old woman from the Anti-Witch Association, (forgive my face blindness), and there are several scenes in the heroine's death recollection. I originally thought that this old woman It is the mother of the heroine, because the heroine is an orphan. The reason why the old woman hates witches may be that the witch took her daughter, but the result is not, this old woman can't cause any big things, I thought she would be possible. It was a point of dramatic conflict; the old woman adopted a lot of orphans and asked them to distribute leaflets, anti-witch leaflets (often abusing orphans), and one of the little girls gave a lot of pictures, a lot of scenes, it seems from the plot that this girl seems to have a lot of fun. Strong magical power, but it has not been manifested yet. I thought she would blacken, and the magical power would awaken and go berserk. In the end, there were no birds. I didn't understand why she was given so much drama.
The male protagonist is looking for the little animal that got lost and got into trouble. The villain should be carrying out a certain conspiracy, and then the two are entangled under certain conditions. The male protagonist was wronged and fled to find the truth. In the process of finding the truth, he defeated the conspiracy and proved himself. This should be a very routine and royal plot, but it was completely messed up, and I had no idea what story the director was telling. Let me put it this way, these two lines are almost useless to overlap, the director just brings them together - the male protagonist and the villain have no conflict - although the villain took away the male protagonist's silence, but what to do with it Is something bad? no.
There are no fierce fights or magical contests in the overall situation. There is no plot where the male protagonist you want to use the various magical attributes of his magical animals to defeat the villain. During the fight, if there was a fight, Fantastic Beasts didn't appear at all.
The only bright spot is the male supporting actor who is responsible for laughing. Well, a fat man may be a laughing spot in itself. Besides, it would be too disappointing if there is no bright spot. I can only say that the male protagonist is not suitable for interpreting this role. Neither can the hostess.

This is a disappointing film, and the reason for that disappointment is contrary to the too high expectations that came before it.

The director's storytelling skills still need to be strengthened. It's half comedy and half ghost movie. The courtship dance with freckles is too charming, but why do you have to insert a love line between the hero and heroine? It really goes against the main theme of HP in the title. Just wanted to cry.
