I almost fell asleep while watching this film. I was still waiting for the climax before the film ended. I saw Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi in the whole film, but after watching it, it was the figure of Tom's wife that remained in my mind. The protagonist’s sense of existence is very weak, probably the result of careful handling by the director and screenwriter. The other plots are too trivial, and only some quarrel scenes can be remembered.
The expectations for this film are too high, and I can only blame myself for not having the mentality of watching commercial films. But those big-name actors who almost make you ignore the movie itself, it is difficult for you to associate this movie with non-commercial or artistic movies. I think this film is a pseudo-commercial film. It is not a high-level commercial film. The literature and art are not out of style. Relatively there is only the soundtrack. It is rare for so many big-name actors to gather together. I'm really sorry to persuade them if they don't give 3 stars. Director and producer.
