The film is set in the United States, which involves a lot of racial issues and cultural barriers, which seems to further complicate the problem. But aren't similar stories repeated equally in other places where there are no such problems, or among people of the same race, in the same wreath? Humans are emotional creatures full of contradictions, and racial and cultural issues are only one of the manifestations of contradictions. Without them, contradictions would manifest themselves in other forms.
Good content also needs good form. The film itself is also very good-looking. With such a complicated plot, so many scenes, and so many actors, it can be shot so smoothly and clearly that it is difficult to be a director. The performances of the actors are all wonderful, and the soundtrack is even more appropriate. In 2006, it was widely praised and won the Best Picture at the 78th Academy Awards.
A movie like this that keeps my heart tugged when I watch it, but it doesn't seem to have much to write about, and it's nowhere near as good as when I'm judging those popcorn movies. I think this kind of movie should be made for God to see, let him see what kind of chaotic and complicated world he has created.
