When my husband recommended this movie to me, I was a little bit rejected, and I tried my best to avoid movies and TV series that involve racial discrimination! So after watching it for the first time, I gradually became interested, and I went back and watched it again! I have to say, the director's ability to grasp the story is too strong! The film editing and music work perfectly together, leaving blank space for the originally tense and oppressive plot, allowing the unspoken meaning to flow out slowly~~ Especially with the ending song, everything that just happened in the film flashes in your mind one by one, a kind of emotion It came naturally~
I have to say that racial discrimination is only a point of this film, but the director did not dig deep into it, but reflected his attitude towards racial discrimination through a series of conflicts, coincidences and reversals! Good and evil are only a matter of thought, no one is born a devil, and saints can be impulsive! Only with good intentions in your heart and not being brave for a while can you slowly cultivate calmness and bearing! The benevolent is invincible!
