My favorite Disney movie, bar none.
When the live-action version was released, I couldn't accept the casting of the live-action version, so I didn't know how many times I swiped the original animation again.
Many people define it either as a Disney spin-off: a feminist representation of inner beauty and intellectual beauty; others define it as Stockholm or the Mary Sue fairy tale where the overbearing president falls in love with me.
In fact, what I want to say is that most people only notice the distinctive advantages of Belle's image as an anti-Disney traditional princess, while ignoring the inherent character flaws of this character. What kind of girl is Belle? She's not a princess, she's an "odd" girl from the countryside, and it may be inaccurate to say that she has character flaws, but in the context of that era, she loves reading, questioning people's daily life, and pursuing her so-called dreams , is naturally regarded as a strange accident by the people around her. She herself said that she has no friends, and she is a recognized beauty who has rejected the love of recognized handsome guys. Just imagine such a character image, even in our current life. In the middle, it must also be a lonely and alternative girl. (If you have any doubts about the description of any of the above details, you can go back to the movie and find it.)
So many people say that the Beast didn't know how to love, Belle was the first person in his life who didn't treat him like a noble prince, so the Beast fell in love with her. And isn't it the same for Belle? The Beast is her only friend, understands her, respects her, doesn't think she's strange, and gives her a large library. Including Belle reading "Romeo and Juliet" to the Beast, teaching the Beast literacy (because the Beast has not read the book for too long and forgot the words), (the live version was changed to the Beast is also a literary youth, Belle and the Beast have a common favorite literature, and discuss it together), so Belle falls in love with the Beast. These small opportunities may be the same as the small opportunities for us to fall in love with a person in real life. So don't doubt any more, how did you fall in love with it out of nowhere? Or something, Belle, she was Stockholm, such a stupid nonsense.
This is the most beautiful look of love in my mind.
