Review after the second viewing

When the movie was just released, I went to the cinema to watch it for the scenes and special effects, and felt quite disappointed with the ending of the movie. But the alien invasion scene created by the stunt still struck me. Unlike "Independence Day", "War of the Worlds" highlights the destructive power of aliens and people's fears more from the side and details. What I especially appreciate is the section where the burning train passes by, as well as the long roar and rumbling sound of alien machines.
After a few years, watching aliens invade the earth again. It turns out that the film turned out to be based on the old soup family, not how humans fought aliens. In the face of advanced aliens, human beings are vulnerable. It's just that in the face of danger, in the struggle between people for survival, some people have the upper hand. Moreover, the battle is still left to the military, and the movie is only about the escape of civilians. Therefore, the title of the film may mislead the audience.
The ending of the movie is very disappointing. There is no large-scale confrontation, and the menacing aliens hang up. The reason is the role of microorganisms. Take a closer look at the name of the movie. It turns out that there is an "S" after WORLD, so the movie is not off topic. Most disappointments are caused by high expectations. When I watched it for the second time, I felt much better, and I also saw a lot of humanity (it is estimated that when I watched it for the first time, I hoped that Lao Tang and the alien would be singled out and missed it)
