Finally revisited

I saw this film when I was young, but my memory is really vague.
Should feel the Internet. I saw the bad remake of the film two days ago. In addition to the boring plot, I also felt that the robot seemed familiar. So I searched a lot and learned more about it. I learned that it was a remake. I resolutely realized that this is the sci-fi movie I saw when I was a child. The movie started to make me fascinated by science fiction films. Now, I still have a naive obsession with spacecraft and astronauts like I did when I was a child. Haha~~
So I revisited this classic black and white old film after fasting and bathing. When I was a child, I only watched the last half. What impressed me most was the hard pressure when Gort slowly walked into the screen. The reflection on the ground gradually increased, and the dubbing became more and more awkward and heavy-suddenly stopped, and the blindfold slowed down. Pulling it away slowly, a silver light flashes that can wet and soften hard weapons. This plot now seems to have a hypnotic effect greater than appreciative appeal, but as a child, I couldn’t bear to blink my eyes sorely when I saw it~~ It’s thanks to my buddies that I fasted and cleared my heart, otherwise I would watch the movie alone in the middle of the night. I really got mixed up in the state.
This movie has a lot of praise, coupled with the background of the times, it has a technical and political dual height, and it is a relatively good science fiction film. But for me, it is the simplest original sin. Because of this movie, I am deeply plunged into the abyss of sci-fi movies and cannot extricate myself. May the Lord punish me by watching more sci-fi movies to atone The bad stuff in this remake is better, thank you~~).

The Day the Earth Stood Still quotes

  • Klaatu: I'm worried about Gort. I'm afraid of what he might do if anything should happen to me.

Helen: Gort? But he's a robot. Without you, what could he do?

Klaatu: There's no limit to what he could do. He could destroy the Earth.

  • Mr. Harley: Your impatience is quite understandable.

Klaatu: I'm impatient with stupidity. My people have learned to live without it.

Mr. Harley: I'm afraid my people haven't. I'm very sorry... I wish it were otherwise.
