Stunt: 6/10
Performance: 7/10
Overall Evaluation: C+ I
've been so busy lately, I watch less films and write less. No, it's been more than two weeks since I watched this new film, and I haven't had time to write, and to be honest, I'm too lazy to write. This movie is actually a pleasure to watch. But watching it relied on the reputation of the third oldest box office in the 1980s for the past two weeks, more packages will definitely be confused. So I'm trying to express my opinion as objectively as possible without spoilers. Of course, those who have seen the package must know what I am talking about.
Of course, there is no shortage of good places, or the old Indy fans will not follow them. For example, old music with calloused ears, such as various speeding cars, explosions, cliffs, floods and other "big" scenes for the eyes to enjoy and to match the popcorn in the mouth - Lao Si's forte in the past. The outstanding performance of several characters has given strong support to the film's box office.
First of all, of course, our 66-year-old grandpa Ford, he is just like the old Willis last year in "Live Free or Die Hard | Die Hard 4.0" (B-; The hot old guy came back with a bald head !) Then, it was still the invincible, skilled, stunt-maniac, occasionally funny, and surprisingly well-kept Professor Jones. The expression on the old man's face in the opening scene of getting on the high-speed train with the enemy really made me laugh.
The second is the magical return of Grandpa Karen Allen, Grandpa Ford's girlfriend in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Although the face is old, the temperament is still there. This is simply the best gift Lao Si gave to old fans.
The third is that I went from "Disturbia | Rear Window Horror" (A; a new classic horror with unique style) to "Surf's Up | Surf Penguin" (A-; an interesting theme breakthrough for animated feature films) to "Transformers | Transformers" (A; dazzling visual feast) Shia LaBeouf, the young man who has always been sought after, still exudes a valuable and unique aura. Since the scenes and stories are centered on Grandpa Ford, Shia's performance is limited to a certain extent. However, in a limited number of scenes, his humorous language and actions are as bright as ever. I am still very happy to be his fan and will continue to be his fan.
Having said these superficially gorgeous aspects, I would like to talk about the outdated and reactionary nature of this film. In 2008, what we appreciate is the level of treasure hunting in "National Treasure", which has kept pace with the times, and this new soldier is still filmed in the same way as 20 years ago. Add to that the "scientific" details are so bizarre that they don't make sense, and the story's ending is so bizarre that it "teachs the bad way", it's just breathtaking, heart attack.
"The whole story is so bizarre and disgusting: we know Lao Si's origin, but he really shouldn't put things that don't belong in "Indiana Jones" to "Indiana Jones". "Duo" is a high-level adventure, a novel legend, and should not be the place where Lao Si cooks eight-treasure porridge. This eight-treasure porridge was so confused and made mistakes such as putting the emperor in the country of sticks. No wonder the Peruvians were very upset.
"The villain is so bizarrely out of place: it's all over the years, and the Soviet KGB? Did something go wrong? Well, why do they have to be in uniform all the time, even if they have to have these masters as foils for reasons of the times? Especially on foreign soil. Work hard. These people are wearing Hollywood communist clothes and doing Hollywood communist things like in the 007 movie. The taste is a bit heavy for nostalgic sake.
"The details of the "science" are so bizarre and completely unreasonable: Lao Si really has to make up for the physics class in middle school and study the chapter on "magnetism". A simple question: why does the strong magnet disappear when it is covered with cloth? While it's a typical Hollywood movie trope like "the roar of a ship in space", I was absolutely disgusted.
"The ending of the story is so bizarre that it "teachs the bad way": I will not say that the adventurous nature of the story is challenged by the nondescript nature of this ending, and it will be spoiled if you say too much. I just want to say, Lao Si arranged the ending of "Too much knowledge equals death", did he take the wrong medicine or something? How many parents take their children to the movies? The child knows after reading it: Knowledge = death. "I don't want to learn too much, because it's useless and I am going to die!" What the fuck?
Just checked on IMDB, and the score has gone from the fairy-tale that was picked up by die-hard Indy fans at the premiere two weeks ago The 8.8 points quickly dropped to the current mortal's 7.2 points. This can not be counted as a credit for my 6 points (now there are more than 50,000 votes, ahem).
