Indeed, like many dystopian sci-fi youth films, the commercialization is still relatively serious. And compared to many Hollywood films, the settings are not that new, and the special effects are not that powerful. But this movie can be said to be a work that left a deep impression on my youth.
Just like reading books, some books come just in time, neither too soon nor too late, just when you need it. Divergent was just such a good movie for my upbringing. I was in high school at the time. At the beginning of the movie, there are five factions in this world, and I was thinking about which faction I would like to belong to. I am the second in the third dimension, and this problem is probably hopeless. I thought it was a film about inheritance and choice. However, the next development provides a new choice, that is, the divergent ones, and the divergent ones are the protagonists who lead mankind forward.
I was shocked at the time. Up to now, the definition or expectation of myself in my Zhihu is still Divergent. I think this film has aroused a certain kind of courage in my heart, to explore, to try, to leap, to be a shining self, just as the heroine, despite her comprehensive development, is a 100% divergent person, but at the beginning still I am most attracted by the brave (I have watched it for a long time, I don't know the exact name). The heroine is a pretty close role model for me. There are many kinds of role models, some are tall and stalwart, some are just like a glimpse, not far or near before me, I seem to be able to reach it when I speed up, but it is always ahead. Triss is such a role model.
Now that I think about a lot of settings carefully, many of the plot development routines are actually quite old-fashioned, and I am too lazy to type and analyze.
I just wanted to sigh with emotion and keep in mind that the movie that struck my heart, and refused to tarnish my youth memory by commercial screenwriters.
