Seeing Divergent because of a friend's recommendation, I have to say it's a great movie. The background of the story is a city rebuilt 100 years after the war, divided into five factions, the erudite, the friendly, the honest, the fearless, and the non-faction. Yo, isn't that categorizing people according to their character and choices? Interesting, isn't a factionless person a person who is not erudite, friendly, honest, selfless and fearless?
Beatrice's mother was combing her hair, and I felt that she was very gentle at the time. She seemed to say, "No matter what you choose, I will love you." Personally, I think this sentence actually implies the fact that in the end, my mother died of a shooting in order to save Beatrice. I like to speculate on the next plot while watching the movie, and as I expected, in the pre-cast test, Beatrice's result was indefinable, that is, the divisive. In fact, I don't really understand. In the consciousness test, what did Beatrice in countless mirrors, the fierce dog, the other Beatrice, and the little girl represent? It's amazing, including that I still can't define what the divergent people are in the movie, but when I think about it, I have some clues. The divergent people are an existence independent of each faction. They have multiple characters, independent thoughts, and detachment. outside the faction system.
To be honest, Claire chose to join the erudite school, which was a bit of a surprise to me. In the previous scene, he was on the street with Beatrice, and he was so willing to help others that I thought he would choose Selfless, but I was wrong. And Beatrice joined the Dreadnought faction, "faction is more important than blood," and when I heard this sentence, I felt sadness for Beatrice's parents. Their sons and daughters have all chosen other factions and will likely stay away from them ever since. It is also worth mentioning that Beatrice's father was one of the leaders of the Selfless Faction.
There has always been a struggle between the erudite faction and the selfless faction. Only one of these two factions can be the leader of the five factions. This is the contradiction that drives the development of the plot. Clearly the altruists are at a disadvantage. Two of the more influential incidents were the abuse of his son Abidance by a Selfless leader, which led him to defect from the Selfless. I don't think defecting can be said, but the abuse is real, it's really a beast! Adams is the male protagonist four, why is this event so influential? First of all, this leader is the leader of the selfless faction, and what he does is actually the image and facade of the selfless faction. So his black material (abusive behavior) has been blackmailed by the Selfless faction. Then came the deliberate smear of the erudite faction. They took advantage of this black material, and the leader abused the children, and everyone who was promoted to the selfless faction abused the children. Of course, this kind of smear fermentation is wrong, but they succeeded.
The second thing is that Claire chose the erudite faction, and Beatrice chose the fearless faction, which became the corroboration of my analysis above, and people believe that the selfless faction is abusing children. Otherwise, why did the children of another leader choose to deviate from and abandon the selfless faction?
Beatrice entered the freshman training camp of the Fearless School and met mentor Four, who was the first in the freshman training camp that year but was reluctant to enter the management team. Hey, the first time I saw him, I thought he was the male lead. He was super handsome, and I always paid attention to his interaction with the female lead. In the first stage, the heroine was not too strong and was almost eliminated. Fortunately, she did not give up, and successfully stayed with the help of Four. In the second stage, I think the reason is because the heroine is a disagreement, so in the awareness test in the face of fear, she can realize the existence of hallucinations. Her own wishes come back to reality (which I don't quite understand), so she's doing so well that she might be found to be a disagreement and be executed by management.
How could Four allow Beatrice to face danger, she entered his consciousness with Beatrice, and taught the hostess what ordinary people would do when dealing with fear. This part seems to be a bit candy. So the heroine successfully passed the second stage of the test.
The climax of the movie is here, and the bad guys are out. The high-level leaders of the Erudite School and the Fearless Faction colluded. When combined, they were brave and resourceful. They developed a potion that could control people's actions (but it seemed to be ineffective for those who disagreed). They planned to create the Fearless Legion and destroy the Selfless Faction. The reason is that the lifelong belief of the leaders of the learned school is to destroy human nature. And he believes that the behavior of the selfless people is to show human nature. I won't go into details about the process, but the result is of course that at the last minute, the hero and heroine worked together to turn the tide. Sadly, Beatrice's parents both died.
I think this movie is actually a celebration of human nature, whether it is a good character, or a family that is difficult to give up, and a touching love, it is actually a portrayal of beautiful human nature.
