The Soviet duga-3 radar antenna in the movie

The first half was okay, but the second half felt far-fetched and unreal. After seeing it, I stopped paying attention to the actors' performances. All I could think about was that the plot was too mentally retarded. It seems that it is indeed a teen movie. There's not much depth, so let's just watch it as a whole.
The male protagonist is indeed very handsome. At first, he thought he was the Quidditch captain of Gryffindor in "Harry Potter", and his facial expressions were very similar. Later, he saw the cast and realized that it was not.
There is also the tall fence on the edge of the city in the movie, which is actually the antenna of the former Soviet Union's duga-3 ultra-long-range early warning radar. Its shape has a typical Russian style of violence, extensive, and weird.
