dragon tattoo

After dawdling for an afternoon, I finally finished watching the remake of the girl with the Dragon Tattoo by David Finna in 2011. Watching the sound of the motor roaring at the end of the motorcycle, the heroine L disappeared into the darkness by herself, and suddenly she wanted to be wild again, like L, wearing a black vest, holding a cigarette in her hand, ruthless. He took a hard breath and spit it out slowly, brewing endless sadness and resistance in the darkness and silence.

The original intention of the author to write this article is not to discuss the superiority of Fenyao's film compared to the previous Swedish version. In fact, when I watched the Swedish version before, I bought a pirated disc, Blu-ray 09. The picture quality is not bad, as far as the movie itself is concerned. The suspenseful atmosphere of Northern Europe is also well created, and I personally think that the female lead in that version is better. Of course, Finch's version is not bad, the editing is neat, the narrative structure is tight, and there is a very dark title. Based on the fact that I haven't read the original work, even if I am a senior fan of suspense and reasoning films, the author will not spend pen and ink here to nag about the case.

However, the ending of Fenyao's version really made me sad. I watched it over and over again and even cried when I watched it. I thought that the great god had company, but I was still alone. At the end, L. took her clothes as a Christmas present to see her favorite male protagonist M, but found that M was still messing with the female editor-in-chief of the editorial agency, so L raised his arm and threw the clothes into the trash can decisively. Standing alone, wearing a helmet, stepping on a roaring motorcycle, he drove away from the road and drove into the boundless darkness. On both sides of the road, the Christmas lights are bright, and the homes are warm.

What kind of girl is this? Tobacco, alcohol, tattoos, all kinds of piercings, sexual abuse, those who have read the introduction to the Millennium Trilogy will know that this girl has a tragic childhood and a huge KGB behind her. However, it is this girl, she is intelligent, calm, rebellious, and loves justice. Personally, I am in love with this character. As long as you're not afraid of her darkness, you'll find rose-filled slopes under her cypresses. The details of the foreshadowing in the movie are as follows:

- Click on the photo in the computer, and then close it in a panic.

- Make a breakfast for M, knowing that she herself has always been a person who only eats instant noodles

- Serious when choosing Christmas gifts.

After falling in love with M, you can still choose to leave without falling into it, rational and insecure, which requires overcoming the temptation of great miss. L is bitter, cool, and even more dick, but no matter what, Bi Huang is a person and a woman. Some damn chemistry is beyond human control. So in the end, when she turned around and left, she still gave up, just like her life before, it has always been crippled.

Sometimes I also wonder why every time I see such a tragic, bloody and tearful character, I always admire and fall in love with it without hesitation. Think about it, probably because I also have a small L in my heart, I am often alone in the dark, I often resist stubbornly, and I often watch from a distance without some people knowing. They, too, often faced some people alone, turned away, rode motorcycles, and hurried on the empty road without even leaving behind. However, unlike L., she has the heartache of watching audiences all over the world, while I have none.

L Don't let the world trample you under your feet, don't forget that there is that enchanting dragon on your back. Let the world speak, the light of day does not know the depth of night.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo quotes

  • Mikael Blomkvist: Hi. You and I need to talk. I got us some breakfast.

[sees a naked woman in Lisbeth's room]

Mikael Blomkvist: I'm sorry, I didn't realize you had some company.

Lisbeth Salander: Hey. Hey! Who do you think you are?

Mikael Blomkvist: I'm the guy you know better than my closest friends do. Why don't you put some clothes on, get rid of your girlfriend. We need to talk.

  • Mikael Blomkvist: I guess I must have alarmed you, turning up like that.

Lisbeth Salander: [charges taser] If you touch me I'll more than alarm you.

Mikael Blomkvist: That won't be necessary. Your report. Very detailed. But for me, it wasn't very entertaining.

Lisbeth Salander: It wasn't meant to be.

Mikael Blomkvist: When I write about people I try to entertain the reader.

Lisbeth Salander: Wennerstrom wasn't entertained much.

Mikael Blomkvist: Your boss, Armansky, he tells me you only do jobs that interest you. So I suppose I should be flattered. You gonna sit down? He also says that you're the one he goes to when the job is sensitive.

    [Lisbeth sits down]

Mikael Blomkvist: That's the word he used. Sensitive. I'm gonna use illegal. Because that's what it was when you hacked into my computer. I'm not gonna do anything about that. I could, but I won't. What I'm gonna do is tell you a story and if it entertains you maybe you'll decide to help me research further. And if not, I'll do the washing up and you'll never see me again. Here, you should eat that.

    [pushes sandwich to Lisbeth]

Lisbeth Salander: What kind of research?

Mikael Blomkvist: Lisbeth. Oh, can I call you Lisbeth? I want you to help me catch a killer of women.
