I watched the movie "The Help" yesterday, and there was a small episode during the movie. There was an earthquake. I haven't felt such a strong feeling for a long time, but it's okay, I panicked for a few seconds and continued to watch the movie calmly.
This movie is really good. It also tells the story of equal rights for blacks in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s. The previous views on racial discrimination were limited to this point of view and did not have a deep understanding and experience. It was not until I read "Green Book" and "The Help" that I realized that the status of black people in the mid-20th century was really very, very humble. Fortunately, after their resistance and fighting, the situation is much better now.
Glad to be living in the best of times.
Going far, I want to say that the most hated thing I used to watch was foreign movies, not because I was afraid of not understanding, but the foreign blockbusters in my impression are the kind of loud noises, can't understand the plot, can't recognize A sci-fi film with a clear character's face, a drama that immediately fell asleep when I heard the title. It was not until I watched these two high-quality films recently that I realized that the excellent foreign films can be so good and not have so many ups and downs. Just like a storyteller, he tells the story of the protagonist. Comfortable and reasonable, it allows me to understand a world that I didn't understand.
It wasn't cold last night, and I had the best sleep I've had recently, thank you.
The gloomy mood suddenly became a little brighter. Hope to continue to have good news.
