"When what you love gets taken from you. You wanna know the truth." Plot: 1. Return: A terrorist organization pretended to use Jason Bourne's identity to interfere with the identity of the US government, and then assassinated Bourne. Byrne did not die, but his wife Mary died, so he returned; 2. Naples: Came to Naples with a real passport. Learn that you have been framed. Come to the home of the sniper who appeared in the first episode to learn more; 3. Berlin: Use the hotel phone to find the female leader, Landy, and follow her to find the base. By not calling and remembering that he had been on the "Berlin" mission (it was his first mission). Through the hotel, I recalled that the mission was that the "stepping stone" male leader used power for personal gain to embezzle money, which was also the reason why the leader framed and hunted down Bourne. Byrne let go of the person in charge on the grounds that "she didn't want me to do it", but the person in charge committed suicide; Note: There is a scene in which "Niki" was hijacked, and the first mission of forcing him to be fruitless. A completely superfluous plot in my opinion, probably just for its appearance in the third installment. 4. Moscow: I came here to apologize to the little girl whose father was killed. However, he accidentally met the murderer of his wife, but Byrne also let him go. Finally, Byrne confessed the truth to the girl; 5. Ending: The woman in charge got the truth of the investigated case and thanked Byrne. And told him his real name was "David Webb", April 15, 1971 in Nexa, Missouri.

The film has an addictive vibe, grim, gloomy, and taciturn. The relationship between the audience and the protagonist is alienated, just as Jason is alienated from his memory and from his ego. But a strong and mysterious male protagonist can always surprise the audience. So despite playing with a lot of things in form, the political allegory of personal opposition to the system, the tension of the squeeze from the external environment, the sensory penetration of the pseudo-documentary... it's all still in the service of a lone hero's story.

After watching the first part, I found that the ending song is from Moby's "18"~ Great! ! !

The Bourne Supremacy quotes

  • Pamela Landy: What?

Ward Abbott: I know how you're feeling. You lost two men in Berlin and you want it to mean something, but nothing Bourne gives you will bring your men back. Nothing in those files makes their sacrifice worthwile. You have to let go. We're professionals, when an operation goes bad, we tie it off.

Pamela Landy: If there's something you're not telling me I want it now before I send that girl out there, do you understand?

Ward Abbott: You talk about this stuff like you read it in a book.

  • Jason Bourne: [while being pursued by Krill] We don't have a choice.

    Marie: Yes, you do.
