In 2019, travel website Plaatsonbekend.net published three blog posts combing through travel lists for the Bourne Bourne trilogy. From the icy port to the snowy Zurich, from the romantic capital of Paris to the secluded Greek island, let us follow the familiar images and wander in Bern's world again.
Bourne's adventure begins in the Mediterranean, on an Italian fishing boat. He was rescued from the icy ocean with serious injuries and lost all memory. He disembarked at the port of Maurizio in Liguria, Italy, and went to Zurich, Switzerland. The film’s first climax is when two local police officers evict Bourne sleeping in a small park and then attack him—even though the scene was shot in Prague, we’d like to believe it’s Zurich’s Horn Park.
Byrne withdraws his passport, guns, and cash at the Zurich bank, and drives to Paris with a girl he stumbles upon, Marie, where he finds himself owning a house.
Since Jason Bourne poses a threat to the CIA and its covert operation "Treadstone," the CIA needs to clean up Bourne. The CIA has activated agents from places like Barcelona for this purpose. All are tasked with clearing Jason.
Byrne defeats an agent at his Paris house, and he and Marie have to flee Paris when the agent falls. Marie escapes with Byrne to a house of self-conscious safety, which the movie suggests is between Nevers and Riom in France. However, it was filmed on the outskirts of Prague.
Byrne separated from Marie and went to Pont Neuf Paris alone. He found the CIA Paris stronghold with a GPS tracker.
Byrne survived the battle with the CIA and traveled to the Greek island of Mykonos to find his love again, Mary.
The second part of The Bourne Bourne begins with Byrne and Mary secluded in a small house near Palolem Beach in Goa, India. Byrne still suffers from headaches from memory loss.
The CIA killer accidentally killed Mary while chasing Bourne. Byrne embarks on a journey of revenge for his lover. He set off from the Kadamba bus station in Panaji, India, to Naples, Italy.
Byrne made it through customs, and the CIA in London set off an alert. He overpowered the agents who held him, stole the CIA's car and overheard that he had to go to Berlin to solve the problem.
Byrne crossed the Brenner Pass to Munich, where he fought a "former" colleague. (Although the film is set in Munich, the scene was shot outside Berlin.)
At the same time, another group of CIA came to Berlin. Bern arrives at the Berlin Ostbahnhof after the battle in Munich. There he found the hotel where Randy, a CIA high-ranking woman, was staying, and took a taxi to the Western Grand Hotel via Jannowitzbrücke.
Byrne made an appointment to meet her at Alexanderplatz near the World Clock.
After the Battle of Berlin, Byrne traveled to Moscow to find the daughter of the victim of his "mission" and confessed everything to her. After leaving Moscow, he heads to New York, where he seeks to forge a new connection with Randy in order to further rediscover his past.
The beginning of the third installment of The Bourne Bourne begins with a flashback. The first act opens at Moscow's Kievsky railway station, with Byrne eager to escape from the Russian police who are in hot pursuit.
Byrne was wounded in the battle, and he administered emergency medical treatment to himself. Subsequently, he subdued 2 police officers. Flashes of memories haunt him.
Six weeks later, Byrne went to Paris, where he visited Mary's brother and promised to avenge her. He found an informant and made an appointment to meet him at London's Waterloo station.
In London, the informant Simon spoke to Byrne about the Treadstone plan's upgraded version of the Blackbriar plan. The CIA killer arrives and kills the informant, and Byrne traces what appears to be someone from Madrid in the clues left by the informant.
Byrne finds a CIA safe house in Madrid, Spain, where he reunites with Nicky Parsons, played by Julia Stiles. They went to Tangier, Morocco together.
Byrne and Nikki travel from Madrid to Tangier. At the same time, the CIA also sent an agent to Tangier.
In Morocco, Byrne and the killer who came to carry out the most intense chase and killing in the "Bourne Bourne" trilogy, it has become a classic in film history.
Eventually, Byrne returned to New York, exchanged the stolen documents with Randy, and got the intelligence he wanted. He infiltrated the CIA secret base where he had trained and retrieved many lost memories. The final confrontation scene of the movie takes place here.
