best tank movie

"All war movies are anti-war movies"

As a World of Tanks player, I always like to see these scenes: the tank is set on fire; the ammunition rack is blown up; the ammunition explodes and the turret is blown up. After the game is out, I also like to see how many accessories I broke and how many people I killed. Because these are the slaughter of the opponent.

But after watching the movie, those scenes are no longer fun at all. The commander, who was covered in flames, rolled and crawled out of the warehouse cover, but could not put out the fire on his body. In extreme pain, he took out a pistol and shot himself in the head; the enemy's shells left a huge mark on the car. Bullet holes, the charging tank slowly stopped, the muzzle drooped, and I knew that there were no survivors in the entire tank; there were even more than one tank whose turret flew up like a blown pressure cooker lid and then slammed heavily. Falling not far away, I can't even imagine what the people in the tank are like.

Although I didn't dare to think about it, the movie still tried to show a little bit of the tragic situation inside the car: the cannonball directly knocked the head of the commander who was lying on the hood to observe; at the beginning of the movie, a tanker's face was cut off by the cannonball, The corpse was carried out after the battle, with a face still glued to the tank, eyes still open, watching his successor vomit; in the final battle, the jet of the Iron Fist HEAT rounded the body of the loader Splitting it into two pieces... After watching the movie, and playing World of Tanks again, every time I pierce someone, my mind is full of the horrors in the movie.

The movie is already very tragic: four Shermans charge a Tiger, and the protagonist's tank gets around at the cost of three cars. The reality is even more tragic than this: under the US military's combat setting against the Tiger, replacing one Tiger with seven Shermans is a successful tactic. Seven Shermans, that is 35 tank soldiers, and the Shermans nicknamed Ronson lighters brought them most of the end of being burned alive or dead in the explosion of ammunition.

I bought the ticket to see this movie just to see the tank and it definitely beats its ticket price. I give it full marks.

If you, like me, are also playing World of Tanks on external servers, I hope you also spend $30 to buy a FURY gift package, and then treasure this car and never drive it out. The reason for buying it is that wargaming plans to use the proceeds from the sale of the coin car to repair the damaged Sherman in the movie; the reason for not driving it is that I can't bear to watch it get wrecked again in the game.

Finally two details: both
the Tiger and Sherman in the game are real cars.
There is a scene in the middle where Brad Pitt forces recruits to shoot prisoners of war. This did not violate the rules of engagement, because this prisoner of war did not wear a German military uniform but an American military uniform (mentioned in the dialogue), so strictly speaking, he could not enjoy the treatment of prisoners of war.

I don't write reviews, I just feel it.
