I have known for a long time that this movie has a high rating, but I have never found the source, and today finally got my wish.
It's been a long time since I watched a movie that is bloody, fierce, and full of male hormones. I watched two or three court romance movies a few days ago, and suddenly wanted to change my taste. This movie is just right.
The climax of the movie is the ending, which is well handled. The whole film progresses layer by layer, and the plot and emotions reach their peak at the end. In the end, Tommy persisted with the injury for so long. The spirit of a man to be strong and unyielding to the end is convincing. Tommy punched the opponent to death in one round every time he played, and punched his brother for several rounds, which made people wonder if he had let the water down. But from the level of ferocity he started, he still played as hard as he could, and I'm glad he's still doing his best, I don't want him to lose the game out of compassion. Tommy has always been taciturn, punches are fierce, punches are deadly. He has gone through so many twists and turns and misfortunes, and is willing to give all the prize money to the widow of his comrade-in-arms. He is the one who truly understands brotherhood.
I like Tom Hardy who is stubborn and strong on the surface, but kind, righteous and affectionate on the inside. I think it fits his temperament.
He played a mentally ill bum in "Stuart: Rewinding Life", a vengeful Heathcliff in "Wuthering Heights" and a former American soldier in "Warrior" boxer. You will find that his play is very wide, and all kinds of roles are in place. Although he has played more big roles, it is still necessary to admit that he is an actor who can create a variety of roles and has acting skills.
I would love to know how this film was made? Actors can't really fight, how can they be so realistic? The soundtrack of this film is good, especially the ending part, which makes the atmosphere very emotional.

Warrior quotes

  • Tom Conlon: So you found God, huh? That's awesome. See, Mom kept calling out for him but he wasn't around. I guess Jesus was down at the mill forgiving all the drunks. Who knew?

  • Paddy Conlon: Alright. Alright. But you get something through your skull, too. You called me. So don't go threatening to walk every five minutes. And since this is about training, you dump whatever it is you need to dump as far as those pills are concerned. I don't want to see 'em. In fact, hand 'em over right now. I know they're on you, Tommy. You sounded like a goddamn maraca coming through the door.
