Childhood shadows under sweat and tears

While watching a movie, I was thinking about four questions.
1. How many people's life tragedies come from unhappy childhoods? From a dysfunctional family?
2. How much faith can a person have to support his persistence and courage for what he cherishes?
3. From Dad's identity setting as a Vietnam War soldier to TOMMY's identity setting as a deserter in the Iraq War, did the director want to tell us what kind of shadow those who were lucky not to die in the war would live in?
4. Finally, the message "I LOVE YOU" that resolves the resentment between brothers can also calm the hatred of human beings.
In the promotional tape of the film, the phrase "what do you fight for?" always feels that it is not as simple as fighting on stage.

[A] In terms of emotional mobilization, the script, editing and performance of "Warrior" can be said to be perfect. In the first half an hour, he gradually took on the role with a delicate and gentle rhythm, and it was not until almost two-thirds before the two protagonists officially met. The pain and hatred rooted in the characters are not told by any flashbacks. They are all done by the actors' lines and performances. I have to say that this is a design that tests the skill of the main creative staff. This film also fully releases Tang's sexy and unparalleled character charm. Personally think it is one of the best performances of his career. The 20-minute fraternity duel at the end is too perfect. Under this complicated collision, a simple and primitive touch is burst out. For this, I can’t hide my love and madness for this movie. This can be regarded as the highest level of sensationalism in mainstream Hollywood movies.

Warrior quotes

  • [first lines]

Paddy Conlon: [arriving home] Tommy? Jesus! What are you doing here?

Tom Conlon: I was just passing through. I figured why not have a belt with the old man.

  • Paddy Conlon: Listen to me. I thought maybe we could break bread. You know, just open some lines of communication.

Brendan Conlon: You got two lines of communication. You got the telephone and the post office.
