NO WINNER, NO LOSER

It's hard to imagine that such a small-scale film has been bubbling up again and again this year, but such a script that has no selling point in the eyes of investors can only be made into a movie and seen by us after five years. I'm not going to sigh, many things are fair. The reason why I feel so vague is because I am not a believer of a certain religion, but I am very sure that there must be some kind of power that determines many things in the world.

Some people hit the wall with a good script, but they still haven't given up. In the five years of waiting to see the light, only the author himself knows how the script has been repaired to be better; A lot of money, working behind closed doors behind a terrible script, can't wait to show his so-called big production in front of the audience, but only in exchange for a full house. The former is more than one or two rank higher than the latter, and the latter's heartache and nausea, I am afraid I can only endure it myself. All of us have only seen the scenery of other people, but it is difficult to imagine that people can comfort themselves when they are down. Probably only the ambition of "Don't worry about the future without a confidant" is left. And when those famous directors and giants with huge resources are proud of their legs, I am afraid they will not think that their "hard work" that they have spent a lot of money on will be scolded by the audience. Thinking of these processes, and then thinking of the results, people have to nod and cheer for the theory of karma.

To give an inappropriate example, a script like "LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE" is the kind of lucky lottery that spends a small amount of money and wins the jackpot. This kind of thing with extremely low odds is rare, but the experience is worth a lot of aspiring luck. Writers learn.

So LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE told a story about shrimp? A family of eccentric people had to accommodate each other to start the journey for a strange game. Something happened along the way. At the end of the journey, they warmed to each other. Of course, in the eyes of others, this family is still very strange... At this point Nothing has changed.

OK, that's all for the plot reveal. From the above plot introduction, it seems that there is nothing special about it. If you want to understand why this film has received so many praises, you have to watch it yourself. My high school Chinese teacher has already explained this point.

My high school Chinese teacher once said in the first Chinese class: "... once said, 'A thousand viewers make a thousand Hamlets' Everyone has a different opinion on an article Interpretation..." I really don't remember what he said after that. But I thought to myself that he must have practiced the opening remarks in front of the mirror more than 3 times, and left two indelible impressions on me: when he said "Hamlet" in English with a strong Sichuan accent, the whole class looked at each other and wanted to laugh again. The twisted face that dared not laugh; although it was a bit funny to say it out of his mouth, it did make sense. Everyone has a different understanding of a movie, a story, a poem, or a painting. Because of different personal experiences, encounters, and perspectives, they will inevitably have different views on the works.

After watching LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, my strongest feeling is that no one can classify or classify people. When I was young, watching movies, I would always ask adults who is good and who is bad. When I grow up, my roommate at the same table will hear everything with a prophetic expression. At the time, I thought it was very reasonable, but now, at this age, I feel more and more that labeling people is a very unreasonable thing. Ever since I learned dialectics, I feel that everything in this world is very complicated. Let's just say that the family in the film is a homosexual who was choked and committed suicide, a person who was not pleasing to everyone and simply closed himself, a professor who taught the method of success but was on the verge of bankruptcy, a husband who was incapable of doing it himself. Lack of control, and an old playboy who still smokes powder, can you find a worse family than this? There is no fuel-efficient lamp, and no one is a good person in the eyes of ordinary people, but these people have experienced what those "successful" people can't experience in their entire lives. It is these seemingly catastrophic experiences that make their lives full of unknowns. taste. And looking back on some of the "bad" encounters that happened to me, and thinking about some of the plots in the story, I think even if you don't think so now, you will one day treat them as a kind of wealth. Life is full of unknown, unknown happiness, unknown pain, and unknown unknown. Individuals have their own way of living. How can they teach others how to live and how to succeed? The so-called "nine steps to success in life" theory is repeatedly interrupted in the film and proves ridiculous. Therefore, those monographs called "Success Studies" are too nonsense in my opinion, and it is impossible to define success and failure at all, because in life, there are no winners and no losers.

Watching Korean dramas recently developed a bad habit of guessing the plot. When you see a place, your brain always predicts that the next movie will develop according to a certain plot. And this movie satisfies my frustration to the greatest extent possible, not guessing anywhere. Whenever I think what is going to happen, there are always some demon moths in the movie. In fact, thinking about the overall feeling of this story is more like an inspirational film, perhaps the American-style inspiration has a different feeling than the Eastern-style warmth. I have seen a lot of undercurrents and intrigues in society and family in Korean stories. Looking back, I will look at LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE and see the American-style family concept. Even if there are disagreements between family members, the family concept , The scale of educating children can still be consistent; look at their way of getting along, know how to respect other people's lives; look at their attitude towards life, if you can't ignore the embarrassment, it is better to try to take it, ENJOY IT. These simple and direct ways of thinking are indeed Western, but it is not a bad thing for the graceful and easily depressed oriental people to try it out. I'm thinking, maybe life is like the tattered yellow middle-aged bus in the film, it's always unsatisfactory, it doesn't move if you want to go, you can't stop the car when you want to stop, it's hard to get on the bus, there are accidents everywhere, but the critical moment There will also be some small accidents that make people feel very "cool". The most important thing is who is with you in the car.

Saying so much seems to have nothing to do with the movie, but a movie that can make people think so much is not too bad at least! Many plots in the play are commendable, each character has its own attractiveness, and many plots are very thought-provoking, and the more I think about it, the more I feel the ingeniousness of the screenwriter. Posters are no exception. There are three promotional posters that are the words of Dwayne in the film, and with the warm yellow background of the posters, it feels good. Please let me YY why the poster only selected these three sentences written by him: Even if Dwayne thinks his life is like hell, even if he claims to hate everyone, but when the whole family is arguing, he is the only one who finds that OLIVE is missing Birds...

PS. I checked the Internet, and it seems that "there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand audiences" was said by Hemingway, (almost a joke made by Shakespeare =.= !!) I don't know if it's exact or not, who can know please let me know =)
