I'm going to go through the Marvel movies from start to finish. I didn't like sci-fi movies before, and felt that sci-fi movies were unreal and always had an ethereal taste. After watching the Avengers series, firstly, I was shocked by the excellent production of American blockbusters, and secondly, I saw that the emotion in science fiction is no less than reality. I feel the need to think about science fiction movies.
Marvel superheroes are not only powerful, but also emotional. They have weaknesses, they get angry, they get sad, and their anger is unstoppable. Even superheroes fail. The real side of sci-fi fascinates me deeply.
There are two things about "Hulk 2" that stand out to me.
The first is the love between Hulk and Taylor. They are never blessed and are destined to not be together. Locke could turn into the Hulk at any time because of anger, and Taylor is just an ordinary girl. This love is doomed to be difficult and full of unknowns from the very beginning. When Locke meets Tyler and her boyfriend at the familiar tavern, he hurries away. He knew that Taylor was dangerous with him, and that he might hurt her. But real love is not like this. Once Taylor finds Hulk, he will return to his lover without reservation and try his best to help Hulk. This love is truly unforgettable and impressive.
Another is that Bronsky injected mutant genes into monsters in order to have more powerful power. This monster is nondescript and extremely destructive. He wants to win more than anything, so when he finds that no one can stop him, there is a saying "come someone who can fight". I especially like this line, it shows just how much Bronski is desperate to win. Even a bad guy can't help but love it. It's okay for him to become a monster, just to have stronger abilities, just to defeat the Hulk. very simple purpose.
The love between Hulk and Taylor is not blessed, but it is great enough. When you really meet the right person, you must love regardless of everything. We don't live to live. Bronski told me that even a bad guy has his own values and his own logic.
