yearning for peace

I just finished watching the Ice Age. Let me talk about a few places that moved me. When the elephant saw the scene of his companion being surrounded and killed by humans on the stone wall, after being silent for a long time, he still carried the child silently and continued to move forward. The elephant is a social animal, why is it full of sadness when walking alone, maybe he is himself Having experienced the destruction of his family by human beings, he hated human beings at first, but the contact with the child touched the warmth in his heart, which made him still willing to bring the child to his parents. The sloth has always been heartless. Since the tiger joined him, he has naturally regarded the tiger as a collective partner, so when the hippo chased him, he could let the tiger bite him heartlessly. Pretending to be dead in his mouth, Tiger led the way full of scheming from the beginning, until the elephant rescued him at the back. In the process of getting along slowly with the group, he felt warmth and sincerity. Why did he choose to betray his teammates and help the elephant in the end , because the warmth he got in this group was never seen before. Later, what I felt most touched was that the atmosphere when the elephant met the human was a bit tense. Maybe the elephant still had hatred in the heart of the human when he saw the human. Humans also defended and prepared to attack when they saw the elephants, but when the elephants handed over their children, the world became full of love, and all hatred was put down, and they saw the beautiful yearning of human beings to live in harmony with nature.

Ice Age quotes

  • Manfred: Okay, listen, if either of you two can make it across that sinkhole in front of you, the sloth is yours.

Sid: That's right, you losers! You take one step and you're dead.

[Sid throws a rock, which bounces across the "sinkhole" without leaving so much as a crack]

    Sid: You were bluffing, huh?

Manfred: Yeah. Yeah, that was a bluff.

  • [Rumbling is heard]

Manfred: [to Diego] Tell me that was your stomach.

    Diego: Shh.

Sid: I'm sure it's just thunder. From, under... ground?
