to be yourself

After watching "Step Up 2" in the evening, the plot is a bit old-fashioned, the heroine is average, the actor is not handsome or even a little old, and the ending climax is even a bit far-fetched. But, I still like it. In other words, not so much I like movies as much as I like the spirit of the movie, which is very American spirit-to be yourself. Hip-hop dance has not always been my favorite dance, but I still like the large part of the dance that appears in the movie, which is very contagious. In many cases, dancers show not only dance skills, but also an understanding and love of dance. Only those who truly love dance can perform a perfect dance and show the spirit and essence of dance. These things, skills alone are not enough. Skill is a platform. Standing on the same platform may be able to surpass ordinary talents and love of dance. That's also the biggest motivation for you to persevere in many cases (especially the first and most difficult times). The theme "to be yourself" to be presented in the film has been used in many American films. I have always felt that this is the biggest shortcoming of China's education. Chinese education likes to set an example. I hope everyone is a good boy. Those who are not like an example are probably not good children. So many years later, many scholars who have academic qualifications and are not capable will come out. Fortunately, the current environment is much more relaxed than before. Believe that doing what you like is a happy thing even if it is hard. Of course, "to be yourself" also requires your strength and hard work, not just talking.
