Well, I admit that I still love this kind of movies, the "Scary Movie" series that year made me really love it. The nonsensical plot, coupled with the spoofing and unfamiliar movie segments or the so-called Celebrities, is enough to make an idiot movie without a brain make me amused, and even look forward to the fifth part of this series.
Including such movies as "East as the West", "Scary Movie" series and "American Pie" series, I attribute them all to the ranks of "tickling" genre of comedies. These movies are different from comedy movies in the ordinary sense. They have no nutrition, no content, simple plot and ridiculous logic, and the only thing to do is to make you laugh. This is a bit like a person desperately scratching you, making you involuntarily leaning forward and back. This kind of laughter is mechanical and primitive, and of course it is even more difficult to resist.
This film is the same.
In fact, the material for the ridicule is not less, from Hanna Montana, Micheal Jackson, Emmy Winehouse, Justine Timerland, Jessica Simpson to Juno, Batman, Iron Man, Regional Kid, Hulk, from 10,000 years before history, HSM, and the wonderful museum. Night to Alvin and the Chipmunks, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Step Up, Doomsday, Sex and the City and more. But I don't know why the combined jokes are not strong enough.
I personally think that whether a comedy is funny or not has something to do with the rhythm of the film. Recently, a magician I like very much said when evaluating another comedian, that a precise calculation is also important when telling a joke, in order to know when to shake out the baggage to be the most funny. What I want to talk about is the sense of rhythm.
The rhythm of this film is very problematic. Take the episode of Hanna Montana being crushed to death by a meteorite and cheating on her body. In fact, the first time and the second time she regains her soul, it feels pretty funny, but in the third and fourth time there is a kind of "and it's not over." ?!"a feeling of. The same reason is also confirmed in the main passages where Jessica Simpson sings, the protagonists fight the chipmunks, and the museum saves people. The lack of rhythm makes the sections that would have been funny but boring.
Another problem with this film is that there is no novelty. For the comedy here, the plot can be simple, but it must be unexpected; the logic can be chaotic, but it must be ridiculous but reasonable. Otherwise, the logic is confusing, but the plot is well understood by the audience. This is the real "disaster".
Therefore, the evaluation of this film is like the title...In other
words, I am still looking forward to "Scary Movie 5"...
