There is an Edward in everyone

The storyline is actually very simple, the tragedy of the robot falling in love with the human and finally having to separate. But I was deeply moved, perhaps because of Edward's melancholy eyes, or perhaps because of the heavy snow falling outside the window, all of which made me fall in love with this movie.

Everyone has some people in their hearts that they can only miss, and no one can touch them. Like the beginning of the story, the beautiful Jin is old, and she tells it all as a story to her granddaughter. I can't imagine how she felt when Edward was mentioned again. As now, I miss someone, but I can only tell others.

People were lamenting that if Edward hadn't left the castle, King wouldn't have been hurt and the peace of the town wouldn't have been broken. But Edward is also innocent. He came to the town to meet Jin, which may be a disaster for him, because if he never loved, how would he know that he was so lonely. He also longs to be loved, but he is pure, so pure that all his eyes reveal uneasiness.

Edward is a robot, so he will not die, and he has only walked out of the castle once, so his regret is also to have this memory. Finally, looking at the snow outside the window, Kim said that he believed that Edward did not leave, because it would snow only because of Edward Town. But Jin was just a layman in the end, all she wanted to have was a normal life, which Edward could never give, but Edward gave Jin his eternal true love.

All Kim can do is to miss

everyone who has an Edward in their hearts and can only miss. Maybe you also regretted that you brought him into your world, but those who have memories are happy. Love is not the final destination, once loved, it is a memory forever.

Gradually go further and further away, when there is only memory left, don't begrudge the blessing, and bless the Edward in your heart to be happy forever.

Edward Scissorhands quotes

  • Bill: OK, everybody. Grab your plates. Soup's on.

Edward: [with mouth full] I thought this was shish-ka-bob.

    Bill: What?

Edward: [a little clearer] I thought this was shish-ka-bob.

Bill: Yeah, it is shish-ka-bob. It's a figure of speech, Ed.

  • Esmerelda: He has been sent first to tempt you. But it's not too late. You must push him from you, expel him! Trample down the perversion of nature!
