Don't expect names

After watching this film, the reason why I am disappointed is probably because the name is too reminiscent of many European and American financial elites to defraud.
But it's not. The director seems to pay more attention to the mood. During this exciting time, the background music is soothing, full of 70's flavor music. The plot is not very compact, and there are a lot of chicken soup sentences that keep popping up... Probably this way people can remember this film in its not-so-excellent plot... The
male protagonist Owen basically wears sunglasses, Although a cautious and selfish liar, he will still consider the sincere Mayor McCain. "Do what you want others to do to you." This is what Owen was teaching the other person. Conversely, as others treat you, you will treat others as you do. McCain was an enthusiastic, civic man who treated Owen with loyalty, and naturally Owen would treat him well. At the end of the story, Owen went to McCain's house to apologize, took off his sunglasses, looked at McCain sincerely, and said that he had to find a way to exonerate him. His compensation was good, but it was unacceptable to McCain. A person who has always worked for the public and has a beautiful family, was brought back by Owen to collect money that time, also because he wanted to build a good casino, in order to have more jobs and economic development.
The emotional scenes in the play are also very interesting. Owen and his partner, the liar Edith, have a twisted love; Edith and the policeman Richie's true and false love; Owen and his wife Rosalind's helpless relationship; Rosalind and the mafia suddenly burst of passion. The funniest, of course, is between Owen and Rosalind. Owen is a liar, cheating desperate people out of money, but a good father who loves his son. Because he is a good father, he has been enduring Rosalind's childish and unreasonable troubles. Rosalind thought that she always had what Owen wanted, maybe because she was the mother of his son, maybe because the nail polish on her finger had a sweet and sour taste... In short, the logic was very strange, triggering Lots of laughs.
Police Rich and his boss are also a clue. His boss, who objected to Ritchie's approach from the start, wanted to tell Ritchie a story. But Rich was a daring, passionate young man who couldn't even finish a story, and every time he heard a little bit, he began to imagine the ending to himself, and narcissistically thought his boss cared about him. If he guesses wrong, he does not pursue the real ending of the story. Such an aggressive character was doomed to his final failure. Too short-sighted, too little patience, unrealistic fantasy and unreliable passion, even if the justice represented by the police finally fails, everyone will not feel sorry.
Although the storyline is not very exciting, it can be used for entertainment in free time, and it is not so bad. Enjoy the thick ink-like picture, listen to the 70-year-old background music, and watch it easily.
